MBA 2012 will never be the same again!
This week is the first of two weeks dedicated to recruitment. We have had companies recruiting oncampus, and there is a buzz around the place.
There is a whole range of emotions I have seen around the place. The joy when someone receives aninterview invite, or a positive response.The despair when a rejection comes through. The anxiety just before walking into the interview room.
There are some who have received a lot of interview calls. There are others who have receivednone, some by choice. And thenthere’s obviously some who have received a lot of calls, but not the ones theyreally wanted.
I think the range of emotions is like I have never encounteredbefore. We have all been togetherin the same boat since the turn of the year. We are still in the same boat. In spite of that, the feeling that everyone is sailing awayin a different direction is becoming tangible.
And as I have that dawn of realisation, I feel that the IMD MBA Class of2012 will never be the same again…!
