This weekend I had my first visitor and she could not have picked a better time to come! It turned out to be the visitors weekend, so the plan was made to get to get everyone together and go to village of Cully to explore the vineyards. With our backpacks full of wine, bread, cheese and a homemade apple pie the nine of us set off to explore. And what a gorgeous day it was! We parked off on a small field by the lake for our first picnic, after which we went for a stroll up the hills and found a beautiful spot amongst the grapevines for part two of our picnic session. I couldn’t have asked for a better day to spend some time with my friend and show her the beauty of the Swiss countryside.
