It’s been two months since my last post, and so much has happened – including the intense International Consulting Projects (ICP) and another half-marathon.
I also wanted to share a bit about my Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) week at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), where I had the chance to dive deeper into the nuances and complexities of doing business successfully in the Asian market. During the week, led by Cassian Cheung, we discussed several cases, visited companies, and welcomed leaders for rich business conversations. We explored cultural aspects that shape organizational practices and how companies balance tradition and heritage with innovation.

What made the experience truly unforgettable, however, was connecting with talented peers from top business schools around the world and, of course, having the great company of Samantha Beeswanger throughout the week.

Right after GNAM, we jumped straight into the ICP project at full speed. These past weeks have been incredibly intense, filled with learning and knowledge exchange as we work toward delivering the final project to our client. The project has helped consolidate everything we explored this year, from leadership capabilities to hard skills. I’m very grateful to my team and to our faculty director, Arnaud Chevallier, for the discussions and insights.
At the end of October, we had the Lausanne Marathon, which I believe was a perfect snapshot of IMD’s collective spirit. More than ten of us participated in different race distances, and seeing classmates and our Dean, Omar Toulan, cheering for us at the finish line was an unforgettable feeling. It truly reinforced the sense of support and belonging IMD cultivates.

Now, with less than four weeks until the end of the MBA, I can feel a mix of emotions: the excitement of returning to work and facing new challenges, combined with a sense of early nostalgia. Knowing that our routines and the bonds we built are about to shift again makes me reflect on how intense and meaningful our connections this year have been.
