The end of the second week of ICPs approaches, and our MBAs are already gearing up for the first round of company presentations over the next few days.
As always, the projects begin with an industry analysis, followed by a company and issue analysis, and then, at the end of their seven weeks, the teams are expected to present their final findings and recommendations to the top management. Issues can be marketing focused, finance, operations, reorganisation, … and the industries vary from Pharma to Shipping, Tech to Design, with many in between.
The projects continue to be scattered around the world and several teams will be off campus for the full seven weeks, while others make shorter trips to different destinations. So far we have MBAs in France, Germany, UK, Denmark, Norway, The Netherlands, Poland, Russia, India, Chile, Brazil, China and South Africa as well as in various locations around Switzerland. The study rooms are strangely quiet!
Over the next few weeks the different teams will be sharing some insights into their experiences with you, although due to the confidentiality of consulting projects, I’m afraid they won’t be able to mention exactly which company they are working for.
In the meantime, here are a couple of pictures from last year.
