The past month has been nothing short of a whirlwind. While half of my class, as part of the final discovery expedition of the MBA program, jetted off to Buenos Aires, I chose to head to Dubai to explore the transformative initiatives taking place across sectors like energy, finance, and technology. I was blown away by the sheer scale, ambitious growth plans, and the impressive pipeline of projects aimed for completion by 2030. What’s even more striking is that most companies are already strategizing well beyond this horizon, with bold visions for the future.
True to the “work hard, play hard” mantra, my time in Dubai wasn’t just about business insights. I pushed personal boundaries with my first skydiving experience, joined by a fellow MBA classmate. Staying true to the Dubai experience, we followed up with a thrilling desert safari. It was an unforgettable blend of adrenaline and adventure.
The pace didn’t slow down on our return to Lausanne, launching straight into two weeks packed with company presentations meticulously organized by the career development center at IMD. While it’s too soon to know where these leads will take me, I’m excited about the potential opportunities that have surfaced over these intensive sessions.
To round off the month, I’m headed to Mumbai, India, for an onsite consulting project with a global leader in logistics management services. The International Consulting Projects (ICP) are a key milestone in the MBA program, and as I gear up for the final push toward graduation, I’m filled with both excitement and anticipation.
