Following the IMD MBA Graduation ceremony, recent MBA graduates depart for new adventures and the empty campus waits for the class of 2023.

It’s that time of year again – our MBAs have packed up their things and said their goodbyes, leaving the campus suddenly very quiet. It’s always an emotional time.

We get to spend a precious year watching these amazing individuals grow. From their arrival on campus in January full of enthusiasm and curiosity about the journey they are about to embark on, we get to know each of them better as the program unfolds. By December, there is a joint sense of pride as we take part in the graduation ceremony followed by a conflicting sense of sorrow as they head off to different parts of the world to take up new opportunities.

Luckily, it is in the nature of the program that we get to stay in touch with the majority of our graduates. They help us at events for future applicants, drop by when they are in the region, come back with their companies to sponsor projects or take part in recruiting activities, become mentors or guest speakers, and return to IMD for alumni reunions and executive programs.

As usual this year, several of our MBAs took time out of their busy schedules to give us a glimpse into their lives during the program. I would like to thank our key bloggers: Juan Perlas, Jyoti Anandani, David Wardle, Doyin Omidiran, Nishant Savio, Ayesha Fariz, and Bavly Obaid, as well as our guest bloggers and MBAs who kindly shared their student profiles with us.

We look forward to introducing you to our next group of bloggers in January. Until then, on behalf of the whole of the MBA team, I would like to send a final congratulatory cheer out to all of our 2022 graduates and a big thank you to all of our readers.
